Pets
I'm a cat person. My two cats, Lestat and Nadja, are family, and family members deserve their own portraits.
Cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, horses, your favorite pygmy goat! I don’t discriminate. If they’re part of your family, they’re part of the story.
What to Expect
These sessions are relaxed and pet-led. We’ll let them sniff, roam, settle, and shine in their own time. Whether your pet is playful, camera-happy, shy, or a little unpredictable (we love them all), I’ll meet them with patience, gentleness, and a sense of humor.
Pet portraits often work best at home, where your animal feels safe, relaxed, and fully themselves. But if you have another location in mind- a favorite park, trail, or pasture, let’s talk about it! We’ll choose a setting that suits your pet’s personality and comfort.
You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to bring their favorite treats, toys, or anything that helps them feel more at ease. If your pet tends to be nervous around new people or cameras, feel free to let me know ahead of time. I’ll adjust my approach to make the session as comfortable and low-stress as possible for everyone.
We’ll focus on natural portraits, sweet candid moments, and those little quirks you know and love! Floppy ears, muddy paws, soulful eyes, or the way they lean into your side.
